When I painted this imaginary portrait, I wanted her gaze to be the first thing you notice. Direct, powerful and almost as if she is staring into your soul with those mysterious eyes. It’s like she holds a story within, but she’s not ready to share it easily. Her outfit is royal and carries tradition, but it’s contradictory to whom she truly is. ’Potentia’ is a way of capturing quiet power that so many women carry. There is beauty, resilience and wisdom all wrapped into one moment frozen in time.
